Eagan, MN Cub Scout Pack 455
offers a scholarship to boys who graduate from our pack, receive the Boy Scouting
Eagle award, graduate from high school, and plan to continue on to
post-secondary education.

Process and Deadlines:
- Applications will be postmarked no later than February 1st
of an application year.
Applications received after this date are eligible for
consideration in the subsequent award year.
- A selection committee will review applications
and make scholarship determinations between February 15th and March 31st
of the application
year. This process will include
verification of eligibility and a decision on scholarship award amounts.
- Awardees will be notified in writing by April 15th
of the application
year. A copy will be routed to each
recipient’s High School.
- Press releases will be sent between April 15th
and May
15th of the application
year.
- Awardees will be expected to attend the May Pack
Meeting. Applicants may
be asked to give a 5 minute presentation, themed “What Boys Scouts has Meant to Me”.
The pack meeting date will be included in the award letter.
- Payments will be mailed by August 1st of the
award year.
